The Continuous Improvement (CI) Analyst works collaboratively within a team dedicated to developing, implementing, and providing training for the Cascade Lean initiative, focusing on fostering continuous improvement. This role will act as an internal consultant to Cascade's business areas, providing guidance and support, as well as oversight and follow-ups on CI projects. A key focus is to ensure sustainment and realization of outcomes, ensuring that these can be linked with business objectives using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
The CI Analyst reports directly to the CI Lead.
This position requires immediate Controlled Goods clearance, therefore only Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered at this time.

Assist in the training, development, implementation, monitoring, and review of Cascade's Continuous Improvement (CI) system.
- Leverage standard Lean, Industrial Engineering and/or industry best practices tools, such as 5-S, value stream mapping, time studies, statistical data analysis, Kaizen events, etc. in the support, development, and training of the CI system.
- Acts as a liaison to build strong relationships and provide guidance, advice, training, and feedback to interdepartmental stakeholders.
Assist with the selection, coordination, and monitoring of continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
- Ensure realization and sustainment of benefits by linking continuous improvement initiatives with business objectives.
- Perform data analysis in support of problem identification, savings estimates, and measurement of improvement success. This includes the performance of Cost/Benefit analysis and ROI calculations to support expenditures required for improvement.
- Coordinate and monitor implementation of approved FiX initiatives.
Lead and provide assistance in the management of projects associated with CI.
- Provide project management on larger continuous improvement projects as required.
- Prepare reports or presentations to document achievements and the status of ongoing activities for management updates.
Be familiar with and ensure that all workplace conduct is in accordance with Cascade Aerospace's Human Resources attendance, safety, and security policies and procedures.

Core Skills- Excellent communication skills: fluent written and verbal English is mandatory
- Ability to communicate information clearly to individuals of varying technical ability
- Demonstrated experience in the ability to facilitate and motivate teams of people
- Strong organizational and planning skills; project management experience is an asset
- Ability to work with and influence a variety of personality types
- Ability to effectively receive and communicate feedback
- Proactive with an analytical mindset and a bias towards execution
- Intermediate Computer Skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel programs
Post-Secondary Degree (Degrees related to business, engineering, or manufacturing are preferred), certification in Lean Manufacturing or Lean Agile Methodologies would be considered an asset.
ExperienceMinimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar role; basic knowledge or work experience of Lean (or Continuous Improvement) management systems, tools, and methodologies required.
