Our Canadian team is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing team. This position is a senior level position and will report directly to the President of Michelin North America (Canada) Inc.
The Opportunity:
As Business Development Manager, you will explore and develop opportunities for the advancement of our Canadian People-Planet-Profit business strategy as well as drive progress towards our corporate strategic ambitions. This will be accomplished through the identification, development and execution of regional and national business opportunities that accelerate growth, profitability and environmental sustainability in Canada.
What you will do:
- work with the Manufacturing, Commercial and Public Affairs teams to explore the opportunities to advance the collective ambitions of the North American Regions strategies, and in alignment with Michelin's ambitions;
- propose and manage a portfolio of projects that capitalize on the unique opportunities in Canada to accelerate our People - Planet - Profit Strategy, and;
- support the regional and corporate strategy for advancement in life changing high tech composites and sustainable and renewable materials.
What you will bring:
- a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required;
- MBA is considered an asset;
- 5 to 10 years of demonstrated business and economic development experience;
- experience working with governments of all levels and public entities as it supports business and economic development;
- demonstrated leadership presence with experience engaging broad networks or teams;
- analytical problem-solving skills with an outstanding attention to detail;
- project management experience;
- strategic vision with the ability to implement and complete;
- strong leadership skills with the ability to empower and being a positive example for others, and;
- outstanding communication and organizational skills.
