Position: Full-Time Belleville Courier Site: Quinte Healthcare - 265 Dundas Street East Hours: Monday to Friday 0800-1600
Overtime Method: Employee Standards Act (ESA) Payrate: $18.22/hourly

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform drop-offs/pick-ups between Quinte Healthcare Sites (Belleville, Trenton, Picton and offsite locations)
  • Documentation on courier runs; detailed report writing/note taking
  • Use of 2-way radio communication
  • Use of cellphone technology
  • Deliver time sensitive items between hospitals
  • Pick up and drop off scheduled runs
  • Respond to Stat deliveries
  • Provide above-average customer service to all contacts
  • Responsible for reporting required vehicle maintenance/care for actioning
  • Other duties as required
Job Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license - Class G (or equivalent)
  • Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
  • Clean driver's abstract
  • Ability to lift up to 50LBS
  • Ability to walk extended periods of time
  • Proficient in English (both oral and written) communication
  • Proof of COVID-19 double vaccination
  • A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)
    • Completed immunization for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella are required at the time of hire. Applicants who are not immunized or are otherwise unable to provide their MMR immunity at the time of hire will not be deemed eligible for the position.
  • Able to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
  • Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
    • Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
    • Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability
