This position is temporary from November 18, 2024 to March 01, 2025. Upon completion of this temporary assignment you can either resign to a Casual position or apply for any available full-time postings.

- Week 1 - 0730-1930 - 4 Days
- Week 2 - 0730-1930 - 3 Days
- Week 3 - 1930-0730 - 4 Days
- Week 4 - 1930-0730 - 3 Days
- Note: The schedule remains the same month-to-month
Responsibilities:
- Dispatching alarm and occurrence responses
- Coordinating scheduling changes, book-offs, etc.
- Documenting all information into comprehensive reports
- Escalating situations to stakeholders as required
- Ensures necessary procedures are followed in the event of emergencies such as bomb threats, fires, and break and enters etc.
- Liaise with local emergency services and client personnel
- Provides briefings to management, supervisors and staff as required
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in Control room with CCTV & Access Card System
- Must be in possession of a Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
- Must have a Valid (WSIB Approved) First Aid Certificate Level C
- Ability to provide minimum proof of 2 COVID-19 Vaccinations upon hiring
- Available to work Continental Rotation 0730-1930/1930-0730
- Functional ability with the Windows operating system and Windows Office software such as Excel and Word
- Familiarity with Tracktik is considered an asset
- Superior customer service and professionalism
- Above average English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to function independently and multi-task effectively in a dynamic environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous Operations Centre or Mobile Driver experience would be considered an asset
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
- Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
- Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability
