We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translating them into actionable insights through interactive dashboards and reports.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Data Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics needs.
  • ETL Processes: Develop and manage ETL processes to ensure data is accurately and efficiently loaded into the BI system.
  • Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure BI solutions meet their needs.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and usability.
  • Documentation: Document BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes, and report specifications.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and reports.
  • Data Governance: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within the BI environment.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of data governance and best practices for data security.
  • Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and their BI services.
  • Certification in Power BI or related technologies.
