Job Description:
Reporting to the Manager, Business Oversight & Best Practices, WISI National Office, the Analyst is a life licensed insurance professional with excellent administrative and servicing experience. They demonstrate a strong knowledge of new business processing, all aspects of policy servicing to our clients both internal and external with a proven track record of implementing best practices and tools to enhance their efficiency. These skills will effectively carry out 3 core accountabilities: best practices oversight; process efficiency, and team coaching. Working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment, they work comfortably with colleagues, other business units and external vendors; demonstrating the ability to cooperate and influence as they take on various projects, delivering to tight deadlines.
- Working in partnership with the Manager, build, implement and maintain oversight procedures of the TDWIS field service model to ensure regular reviews of in force block and highlight any deficiencies to TDWIS Management and Field Leadership to mitigate our future client risk.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for EPAAs
- Create and implement Best Practices Guide for WISI field teams with respect to new business, servicing requests and in force annual reviews.
- Keep abreast of all regulatory issues or updates to determine impact and updating of the EPAA SOP and Best Practices Guide.
- In partnership with the Manager and G&C colleagues, review and comment on Business Review Action Plans while working with Market Managers, Product Manager, EPAs, WIAs, WIST, and EPAA team members on the development and implementation of the remediation plan and confirmation of closed findings when complete.
- Identifies and highlights organizational risk of new business applications and service activity and ensures end-to-end risk management by means of file reviews over and above those in the regulatory file review.
- Oversight and control over all requests from advisors and Associates for AOR changes and liability associated with TD assuming responsibility for service.
- Create and deliver coaching for new and updated processes related to the EPAA SOP and Best Practices Guide to Associates and other WISI colleagues as required.
- Work closely with life insurance carrier experts, to investigate and clearly communicate solutions to complicated client complaints.
- Develop and manage ongoing partnerships and relationships across various TD Wealth lines of business as well as with external partners.
- Develop a strong knowledge of the TD Wealth Insurance business and the Insurance regulatory environment.
- Experience required
- At least 5+ years' experience in the life insurance business
- Life Insurance license in multi provinces
- Willingness to continue educate through various courses related to risk mitigation.
- Experience working in a corporate environment is an asset.
