Advantage Personnel is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Automotive Detailing Technician to join our customer's growing team!
As a vital member of their service department, you will be responsible for enhancing the aesthetic appeal and condition of vehicles through thorough cleaning, polishing, and detailing processes.
This position requires a strong attention to detail, and a passion for automotive care.
In this role, you will work with various tools and products to restore vehicles to showroom condition while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities:
* Perform thorough cleaning of vehicle exteriors, washing, waxing, and polishing surfaces to achieve a high-gloss finish
* Use cleaning agents and equipment, such as pressure washers and buffers, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
* Safely clean engine compartments using appropriate methods and materials, ensuring that all components are protected
* Assess and address paint imperfections, such as scratches and swirl marks, utilizing professional polishing techniques to restore the vehicle's finish
* Communicate effectively with customers regarding detailing services offered, including pricing, timelines, and specific care needs for their vehicles
Candidate Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Certification in automotive detailing or a related field is an asset but not mandatory
* Previous experience in automotive detailing or a similar role is preferred, though all motivated candidates are Welcome!
* Familiarity with various detailing techniques, tools, and products used in automotive care
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
* Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to automotive detailing, including the proper handling of chemicals and waste disposal
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a strong work ethic and positive attitude
