Ivy Meadows in BeaverBank, Nova Scotia is hiring and currently accepting applications for Permanent Part Time CCA's to join the team.

Responsible to: Nursing Services Manager

Tasks/Responsibilities:

• As per the CCA job description.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a recognized CCA program.
• Provincial CCA certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, families, visitors, and coworkers.
• Good organizational skills and a strong customer service (client/ family) focus are required.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis according to the Northwood Corporate Standards.
• Demonstrated use of proper body mechanics and ability to perform heavy lifting.
• Knowledge of / experience working in a team-based, person-centered approach to care.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team.

Hours/Shifts: 40 hours Biweekly - 8 hour shifts

Effective: November 1st 2024

Salary: As per the NSNU Collective Agreement
