Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Paramedicine, Fleet and Logistics, the primary purpose of this Clerk IV position is to contact employees and schedule temporary replacement staff to the Paramedicine Department, as required, and in accordance with the applicable collective agreements. This position is responsible for prioritizing work and schedules.

Required to lift objects less than 10lbs, with majority less than 5lbs.
Require frequent bilateral repetitive fine motor skills (i.e. typing and mousing) while entering/maintaining data, as well as a constant requirement for eye/hand coordination to ensure precision in completing work and maintaining database file.
Work provides the opportunity to take postural breaks standing and walking within the office environment.
Job Qualifications
Education
Completion of a recognized/approved three-year Business Management Program (HR Concentration preferred). Consideration will also be given to candidates having a two-year office administration program and considerable progressive experience.
Experience with collective agreement administration and staff scheduling is required.
Courses and proficiency in MS Office, Internet and various other computer applications are required.
Experience
Minimum of three years' experience within the last five in a progressively responsible administrative role is required.
Considerable experience meeting deadlines, while maintaining a high level of productivity, accuracy and efficiency.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multi-task and be a critical thinker.
