Salary Range: $48,900- $66,646 per annum
YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the Dean, the Clinical Outreach & Engagement Coordinator works closely with the Clinical Strategist and is responsible for clinical coordination of students within the undergraduate and graduate programs as developed by the Dean. The position is responsible for day-to-day clinical placement operations within the Faculty of Nursing and for carrying out administrative duties that are complex and often of a sensitive and confidential nature.
- Work in collaboration with the Clinical Strategist to establish mutually beneficial partnerships with health care agencies, clinical placement personnel, community leaders, non-government organizations (NGO's), partner institutions for community and institution-based practicum experiences to provide rich, culturally relevant experiences in a dynamic learning environment.
- Manage the clinical requirements, all clinical access, affiliation agreements, and HHN eLearning modules, registration and submission for all students and faculty and report issues to the Associate Dean. This includes liaising with HHN and SNB throughout the year to ensure all access and conditions to placement have been met.
- Collaborate with Coordinator of Skills Lab to develop simulation and lab schedules for all years and submit completed schedule to the Clinical Strategist.
- Submit schedules to the Clinical Strategist in advance of placement which includes developing clinical placement schedules for all students and instructors and identifying required changes to the posted schedule (including shift changes and make-up time) with the Clinical Strategist prior to revising student/instructor schedules.
- Work with Moncton System Administrator to support the administration of the online assessment application CASA (Collaborative Assessment of Students Abilities). This includes preparing each clinical course section for instructors and students.

- Post-secondary education in business, secretarial, or office administration.
Additional Strengths
- A University Degree would be an asset.
- Previous experience in administering web-based applications will be considered an asset.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.
- Ability to initiate and organize work independently.
- Ability to meet timelines of the Faculty and the University at large.
- Excellent written/oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong administrative and time management skills.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities, varied workload and use a high level of attention to detail.
