Purpose:

As the Investment Advisor you are responsible for ensuring clients have a smooth transition to the National Branch.
What You'll be Doing:

  • Responsible for successfully completing all client documentation is transferred from original branch
  • Adhere to branch protocol when providing investment advice to clients to help meet investment objectives
  • Manage existing client relationships and actively promote the products and services
  • Adhere to all firm and regulatory policies by remaining up to date with regulatory rules and trading activities
  • Display a high level of integrity and professionalism in all dealings with internal and external clients
  • Actively share knowledge and experience to enhance development of the team and participate in meetings


Do you have the requirements for the role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Successfully completed the CSC, CPH and 30 day IRT Training (RR Licensing preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills & client service focused
  • Superior time management & organizational skills
  • A clear understanding of all industry and firm compliance regulations
  • Strong self-management and results orientation as the role has many administrative duties
  • Proficiency in ScotiaMcLeod trading and account management systems considered an asset
