The Role

We are in search of a Logistics Support Coordinator to join our team of professionals in our Saint John, NB office.

Core responsibilities will include:

  • Liaise with Logisticians to ensure daily administrative and documentation requirements are met
  • Maintain storage of documents (physical and electronic) and update Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Provide operational and TMS system support to Logisticians
  • Process manual and electronic vendor invoices approvals
  • Freight claim investigations
  • Other duties as assigned

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • College diploma or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and related experience
  • Experience in 3rd party logistics or Traffic Department for large Shipper considered an asset
  • Must be able to participate in on-call, after hours rotation
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a can do attitude
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to read, prepare and understand product shipment information from various order, shipping and customs documents
  • Ability to work independently, in teams, and with team members across multiple locations
  • Must be detail-oriented with effective time management, project management, and organizational skills
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills that lead to productive working relationships with co-workers, clients, and other business colleagues
  • Experience with ERP and/or other Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
  • Proficient in Windows, Excel, Word and TMS related software
