Hours Hours of work will follow the flexible work schedule in accordance with Article 19.01(a) of the NAPE-HP Collective Agreement, based on 75 hours bi-weekly (by mutual agreement). Variable shifts may apply
Salary CG-43 of the Nape-HP salary scales (CAD42.69 - CAD50.35 per hour) plus applicable Labrador Allowance

Demands, duties, qualifications
Reporting to the Regional Manager of Child and Youth Community Health, Rehabilitation and Intervention Services, the Clinical Physiotherapist II is an advanced professional role overseeing the physiotherapy services within the Labrador Health Centre in the Labrador-Grenfell Zone. The primary roles are clinician, facilitator, mentor, coordinator, consultant, and representative for physiotherapy services.

Qualifications:

  • A Masters in Physiotherapy from an approved school of Physiotherapy recognized by the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Physiotherapists;
  • Successful completion of the National Physiotherapy Competency exam (PCE);
  • Knowledge and progressive experience in professional Physiotherapy practice;
  • Management experience within the last four years in a health care facility;
  • Current registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Physiotherapists;
  • Registration with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association;
  • Willingness to travel within the Region;
  • The successful applicant will be required to submit a satisfactory certificate of conduct.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Develops, implements and evaluates physiotherapy services;
  • Oversees physiotherapy department and staff;
  • Assesses, plans and provides treatment to referred clients;
  • Maintains treatment records; compiles patient reports; maintains monthly statistics;
  • Develops and monitors programs for non-physiotherapists;
  • Travel within the region is required;
  • Performs other related duties as required.
