Job Title : AZ Driver
Pay rate: $27/hr.
Shift: Monday to Friday
Hours: 5h30am start
Location: Gatineau QC

Under the supervision of the Delivery and Transport's Logistics Manager, you will need to execute the daily deliveries of the company for various clients within the area. During the deliveries, you will need to maintain good communication with the credit department, manipulate customer payments, verify the merchandise and ensure that we receive an electronic signature.

Job Description

• Professionalism in customer service
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
• Perform pre-trip, enroute and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch

Requirements

• Certificates/licenses: Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
• Personal suitability: Flexibility/ Organized
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (Oral and Written)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when and if required
• Criminal Record Check may be required as part of the onboarding process
• CVOR & Driver's Abstract printed within 30 days
