About the Role

Reporting to the Director, Program Management Office, the Manager, Business Analysis is accountable for the oversight, leadership and delivery of the organization's Business Analysis and Demand Management functions. Through leading a team, this role provides appropriate guidance and direction while ensuring quality of deliverables and processes.

The Manager, Business Analysis ensures their team deliverables meet Corporate Projects and Demand Management requirements and is accountable for reporting on team progress towards meeting WCB Corporate objectives. In performing this role, this position is responsible to engage with other leaders to ensure alignment and clarity of direction for the Business Analysis and Demand Management functions.

The Manager, Business Analysis is accountable for the planning, coordination and resource management of the business analysis function, in support of the WCB's Corporate Projects and Demand Management function. This position, under the direction of the Director, Program Management Office and in partnership with Manager, Program and Projects, provides key inputs into project planning and the delivery of projects. The role is responsible for building, monitoring and evolving the Business Analysis discipline including requirements management and process modelling.

The Manager oversees Demand Management processes by working collaboratively with other leaders to understand enhancement needs and opportunities to ensure successful implementation of changes as well as to inform integration opportunities, costs/benefits, risks, quality assurance and priorities. The incumbent works collaboratively with Information Technology Services and Business Evolution to ensure enhancements are successfully implemented. This includes ensuring sufficient resources are available to gather business requirements and execute user acceptance testing prior to system promotion.

Your Experience & Skills

  • A University degree in business, computer science, or a related field, plus a minimum of five years' experience in a senior decision-making role; three of which involved experience in leadership/management capacity.
  • A certificate in project planning or business analysis is required.
  • A minimum of five years of extensive business analysis experience is required.

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $90,359 - $112,951.
