As a Manager, Digital Performance, you will be responsible for planning, measuring, and managing digital performance of digital tactics, strategies and campaigns across multiple business lines, programs, and platforms (mobile, desktop, app). You will also be responsible for identifying, assessing, measuring, and supporting strategic initiatives as it relates to driving the growth of sales and/or revenue across Scotiabank's Canadian banking ecosystem.

As part of Scotiabank's Digital Channels department, the Digital Performance team is responsible for leading annual fiscal planning, in-year sales performance management and influencing strategic direction of online sales & revenue growth.

The incumbent needs to be firmly rooted in objective data-driven decision making, with a track record of ideating, executing, and measuring tactics that have material impact on sales & revenue growth.

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge
  • Support the improvement of digital effectiveness by partnering with Business lines, Customer Journey Managers, Digital Acquisition Specialists, and Marketing to ensure that Scotiabank positively performs to our annual and strategic sales targets
  • Drive acquisition goals by executing best-in-class tactics, recommending strategies and by optimising continuously within the agile digital framework
  • Apply a holistic view on customer acquisition through several digital channels (public vs. authenticated website, app, mobile vs. desktop experience) with a test-learn-iterate mindset
  • Consistently seek new and innovative ways to use user data, value propositions and personalisation to develop engaging and measurable campaigns
  • Leverage analytics and insights to continuously optimize to channel metrics (CPA) and business goals (New to Bank, Deposits, etc.)
  • Research competitors and their strategies to find the gaps in the industry and accordingly set up digital channel and user experience goals for the brand.
  • Leverage analytics, partner reports and vendor tools to support monthly reporting and ad-hoc requests to generate insights in an effort drive performance management across multiple business lines
  • Identify pain points to creatively improve non-performing areas

  • Directs day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with the Bank's risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in any of the areas: Digital Performance, Digital Product Management, Marketing Campaign Management, Marketing Analytics, Digital Marketing
  • 2+ years' experience in a role that required making fact-based data driven investment decisions
  • Working knowledge of industry leading visualization tools such as Power BI and Adobe Analytics
  • Strong understanding of trends, segmentation and tracking tools
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing or Business, or relevant experience
  • Self-starter with ambitious initiative to continue learning
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
