Full time, One year Term
Remote, Nova Scotia

We're excited to announce a new opportunity for an Accreditation Support Advisor to join our Member and Partner Engagement team as we continue to grow and expand.

Position Scope:

The Accreditation Support Advisor plays a key role in supporting the accreditation process for Home Care Agencies within Nova Scotia. This individual will assist in ensuring Home Care agencies are prepared for the Primer Accreditation process by developing and managing policy documentation, creating templates, conducting data analysis, and providing guidance to internal teams on the necessary documentation, and processes required for the Primer Accreditation Audit. The role requires knowledge of broad organizational policy interpretation, writing, and organizational skills, project management as well as the ability to conduct thorough data analysis to inform decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, Organizational Behaviour/Psychology, Administration, or a Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in accreditation support, policy development, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with document management software and template creation software (MS Office, MS Teams etc.).
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Qualtrics, Excel, SPSS, or other relevant software).
  • Experience in healthcare or community care organizations is preferred.

Critical Skills & Applicant Attributes:

  • In-depth knowledge of accreditation and assessment processes and student learning outcomes preferred.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools and data analysis methodology.
  • Survey design experience with demonstrated expertise in the use of an online survey tool preferred.
  • Experience using assessment data analytic software an asset.
  • Systems experience with document management software (MS Office Suite) databases, SharePoint, or other document sharing software and statistical programs, Survey software, e.g. Qualtrics, SureveyMonkey, etc.
  • Ability to interpret, analyze and summarize data required.
  • Ability to run queries and create reports is essential.
  • Ability to complete tasks with accuracy, attention to detail, and thoroughness.
  • Ability to work with a variety of systems and software tools to extract data and format into reports.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, presentation, and consulting skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals at different levels and to develop and maintain productive and constructive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and work collaboratively with Accreditation Coordinator and Agency accreditation teams from across the province
  • Ability to work independently and achieve deliverables with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams,
  • Experience with minute and notes taking preferred.
