(Contractual Position to September 20, 2025)

DUTIES

Reporting to the Delivery Services Coordinator, the Senior Clerk will be responsible for providing direct support for examination administration to faculty and students. The successful applicant will be required to perform complex and difficult clerical work requiring the exercise of considerable independent judgement. Duties include scheduling, distributing, and processing examinations; identifying and arranging for examination supervisors; entering exam schedules in Banner, including special accommodations; preparing and entering information in the Banner Student system for use by other team members; processing examination site changes; ordering and maintaining exam booklet and postal supplies; answering front counter enquiries; answering student, faculty, and invigilator telephone, email, and ticket inquiries and making necessary referrals; applying appropriate fees to students; and performing other related duties as required.

Some work from home or evening and weekend work may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience (1-3 years) in general administrative work; completion of a two year diploma in office administration or business administration; or an equivalent combination of experience and training may be considered. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and time management skills; excellent interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills; exceptional attention to detail; the ability to work independently and as part of a team; and the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities. Excellent working knowledge of MS Office is required. Experience working with databases, Banner Student, Student Self-Service, Brightspace, or similar systems would be considered an asset.

SALARY $46,134 - $54,114 per annum (CUPE Local 1615)
