Job Overview
Anderson Sinclair Barristers & Solicitors is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our busy, multi-practice Law Firm. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and providing administrative support within our office.

Duties
- Day-to-day accounting tasks including but not limited to: accepting and processing debit/credit card payments, processing accounts receivable and payable, receipt of Trust funds, processing cheque requisitions, daily bank deposits;
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents and records;
- Adhere to the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society requirements for working with Trust Accounts;
- Opening and closing files in accounting program, sorting mail, arranging couriers, and other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications
- Highly attentive individual who is organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry;
- Strong customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions;
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with an experienced, supportive team;
- Excellent computer skills, experience with programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, and has the ability to learn new software quickly.

Compensation based on experience and qualifications.
