Team

RRAE (Retail Risk Analytics Engineering Team) is responsible for maintaining Credit and Retail Model platform. We provide platform and coding frameworks to several teams of Data Scientists and Model Developers. We also help with research and transition towards integration with GCP.

Project:

igrate existing applications to Google Cloud using Python, Google Cloud Function, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, etc.

Typical Day in Role:

  • Work with the lead software engineer and the team, to provide solid python coding template and automate unit tests.
  • Optimizing and simplifying the model codes and perform code reviews.
  • Work closely with the stake holders, to clarify requirements and to recommend best practices.
  • Rewriting exiting framework and adding new code and functionalities.

Responsibilities include.

  • adding new code (50%), updating existing code (30%), and proof of concept (20%).
  • Almost all development activities will be using Python.
  • Participating in architecture decision making.

Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:

  • Experience with major programming languages such as Java, Python and C++
  • Self motivated and curious to learn new technologies and business use cases.

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Experience with Serverless Google Cloud Function/Run, Google Cloud Storage,
  • Experience with Object Oriented Design
  • Experience with Docker file.
  • Experience with SAS/SQL
  • Experience with Kubernetes, MinIO(S3) and Open SaaS. / micro-service.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization.
  • Ability to analyze problems from multiple perspectives, and provide several alternatives.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related fiel
