  • Salary Range: $55,000 to $73,000.

A number of factors are considered when determining a starting salary for our new team members, including length and depth of relevant work experience, skillset, and education & training. Our salary ranges are reviewed on an annual basis.

We are currently seeking a Technology Trainer to join our Human Resources team based in any of our Firm's six offices in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, or Newfoundland & Labrador.

Type of Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Close Date: Wednesday, October 9th, 2024

The Opportunity:

An integral member of the Firm's training team our Technology Trainers are responsible for organizing and providing training to all members of the Firm, as well as authoring and updating training material for information technology applications and Firm-specific implementations.

In particular, the successful candidate will provide software and systems training to support both new hire onboarding and continuing education needs, prepare course materials, and perform needs analyses for any training requests.

Our Technology Trainers also administer the Firm's template software, learning management system and content hosting platforms, as well as test and document new software applications and/or upgrades to current applications.

If you enjoy helping your colleagues be successful in their role, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in technology, this could be the opportunity for you! Education in a relevant field or experience conducting computer-based technology training, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and proficiency in navigating a variety of software applications, is required.

Experience with document management systems, learning management systems and course development software, as well as experience in a law firm or professional services firm would be considered an asset.

Occasional travel to Stewart McKelvey's offices throughout the Atlantic provinces may be required.
