Our client, Robert CP A, is an independent accounting firm offering a full range of accounting, tax and consulting services to family -owned businesses, sole proprietorships, partnerships, corporations, not -for-profit organizations, housing organizations and individual clients in the Ottawa and Orléans region for over 30 years.

They are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing firm!

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare notices for readers, review engagements, small audits, and other financial mandates.
• Prepare corporate, personal, estate and HST/GST tax returns.
• Respond to clients' questions and queries.
• Communicate and follow up with CRA on behalf of clients.
• Research and analyze income tax queries.

Education and Experience

• CPA designation or close to completion (ideal but not required)
• Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience.
• Ability to speak and write in both French and English (ideal but not required)
• Proficient with using Caseware, Microsoft and Excel (required)
• Experience with DtMax (ideal but not required)
• Detailed -oriented, organized and can work independently
• Problem -solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure, decisiveness, propose sound alternatives and conclusions

A hybrid work model is available once a candidate is familiar with the firm systems (after the probationary period). You will be provided with a private office for in-office work.
