We are currently seeking a Wealth Associate in our Halifax office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administrative tasks
• Client communication
• Advisor practice management including workflow, scheduling, and prioritization
• Manage & process all areas of client service: Annual Review preparation, Deposits and withdrawals, buying/selling etc...
• Manage & process all areas of wealth account opening cycle, client updates and life insurance application cycle
• Reception back up
• 100% in office

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of progressive work experience in a similar role within the financial services industry, wealth, banking, and/or administration
• Must hold: Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) (Licensed IR or RR)
• Dynamics 365
• WME considered a strong asset
• Life Insurance experience considered a strong asset
• Desire to grow and expand capabilities & responsibilities
• Willing to pursue ongoing education
• Strong administrative background
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Excel - advanced)
• High performer with high attention to detail
• Is professional when responding to client service inquiries and can confidently interact with other professionals such as accountants and lawyers
• Self-Management with little supervision
