Established in 1955, Soucie Salo Safety has evolved from a retailer of work boots and clothing for the working man to a full line distributor of personal protective equipment and safety equipment for workers and companies in the mining, construction, forestry, government, health care, manufacturing, and service industries.

We are currently seeking a strong candidate to join our team in Timmins, Ontario as an:

Outside Sales Associate

The Successful Candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma and a strong sales background (3+ years). Proficient in Microsoft Office, ability to multitask with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to problem solve and negotiate with strong time management skills. Industrial or commercial sales experience, and knowledge of industrial industry would be considered assets but are not required. Must have a valid drivers license with acceptable drivers abstract.

Responsibilities of the Outside Sales Associate will include:

  • Developing, prospecting, executing, and reporting on business plan to drive new business
  • Developing customer contacts and building relationships
  • Identifying needs and providing solutions and service for customers
  • Monitor and adjust to market conditions
  • Prepare sales action plans and strategies
