BIOVECTRA has an immediate opening for a Receptionist. This is a 16 month-term position located in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing walk-in traffic in a timely and professional manner and ensuring visitors are signed in and issued identification per established security SOP's.
- Providing assistance to visitors, addressing questions and needs.
- Administering the security ID procedures for electronic access system for employee additions, departures and any other related functions.
- Answering incoming phone lines, responding to inquiries, screening and directing calls appropriately.
- Managing the incoming and outgoing mail.
- Providing assistance with meetings and conference calls, i.e., scheduling, calendar and room bookings, refreshments, meal orders.
- Ordering business cards and maintaining and scanning contact folders as requested.
- Ordering and maintaining kitchen and office supplies.
- Maintaining and updating internal phone directory.
- Maintaining, ordering and tracking of requested electronic documentation.
- Providing administrative support, i.e., copying, typing, proof-reading, editing, and formatting and preparation of documents.
The successful candidate for this position should have:
- Grade 12 diploma.
- Administration diploma or equivalent considered an asset.
- One year of direct experience considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Starting annual salary is based on skills and qualifications: $37,500
