We have an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Sewer to join our team in Saint John, NB.
As an Industrial Sewer, you will be responsible for...
- Assisting all departments within Hydraulics, Rigging, and Rubber
- Cutting material, sewing nylon slings, and measuring webbing
- Operating asset management program & windows applications
- Some light to medium lifting is required
As an Industrial Sewer, your responsibilities will include cutting material & sewing nylon slings for custom orders. Restocking, scheduling production, packaging, and customer relations. Training will be provided. Some light to medium lifting is required.
Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous sewing experience will be considered an asset
- Ability to work extra hours (evenings, weekends & on-call)
- Should have a mechanical aptitude, mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills like data entry, email, etc
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment is necessary.
- Be able to work in a team environment and independently with a willingness to learn
- Strong time management skills and high attention to detail
- Able to accommodate role changes and new challenges
