Assistant Digital Marketing Manager - Twisted Tea and Truly Hard Seltzer

Moosehead Breweries Limited is Canada's last-major brewer still owned by Canadians. Headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, the company has been operated by the Oland family since it was established in 1867.

We are currently seeking an ASSISTANT DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER to support the Boston Beer Company portfolio. This role will be primarily focused on TWISTED TEA® and TRULY HARD SELTZER®.

This role can be based remotely within Canada or at the Moosehead Brewery in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Reporting directly to the Senior Brand Manager, this position will lead all digital efforts including social content creation and community management, websites, and earned media. To effectively do so, the individual needs to be skilled with iPhone camera, video, and editing. In addition, expert project management is required to lead initiatives from start to finish, and to navigate our complex network of internal and external stakeholders including the Boston Beer Company, creative and media agencies, and partners such as the NHL.

This is a 40-hour/week contract position (1-year contract) with some work required on evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités
  • Create +5 pieces of organic content per week for social channels.
  • Build organic and paid content calendars in Sprout Social.
  • Plan and execute 360 social contests from creating rules and regulations to awarding winners.
  • Analyze social account performance to prepare and present monthly reports.
  • Engage with our online community by liking, sharing, commenting, tagging relevant community members, and engaging with our community over social media.
  • Manage all consumer inquiries and complaints that come through our social pages.
  • Lead bi-annual content shoots in collaboration with the Moosehead in-house agency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups to procure and disseminate product swag to all influencers, brand fans, contest winners.
  • Manage annual digital budgets.
  • Update and manage website interfaces.
  • Construct clear creative briefs to internal and external agencies.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize +10 projects at one time.
  • Collaborate with external agencies (media, creative development, public relations) and partners including the NHL and CFL.
  • Maintain trusting relationships and rapport internally, with Boston Beer, agencies, and partners (NHL, Festival Partners, etc.) leads.
  • Perform administrative responsibilities associated with the brand portfolio and special projects as assigned.

  • Creativity: ability to come up with new ideas, and integrate consumer trends through photo, video, editing, and post-copy on social media.
  • Communication: experience tailoring a message to a brand's tone of voice in social media content, post-copy, and consumer affairs.
  • Project management: ability to organize and engage stakeholders through intricate processes related to content shoots, campaigns and advertising.
  • Analytical: experience analyzing performance metrics from organic and paid programs on meta, and then distilling them into broader insights.
  • Organizational agility: ability to navigate networks of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Financial acumen: experience with annual budget management.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years marketing experience, previous experience as a Content Creator, Assistant Social Media Manager, or Assistant Brand Manager is preferred.
  • Beverage alcohol or CPG industry experience is an asset.
  • Ability to travel within Canada is an asset.
  • Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an asset.
  • Proficiency with iPhone photography and videography and basic editing tools such as CapCut, Instagram, and TikTok is mandatory.
  • Proficiency with Sprout Social is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Wordpress, and other website software is an asset.
  • Proficiency with PC Applications (Excel, Teams, Viva Engage, Outlook, etc.) is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Canva is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Project Management Tools (Monday.com, etc.) is an asset.
