Northwood is currently accepting applications for an Full Time Area Support Clerk (Long Term Care) to join our Halifax Campus.

Qualifications:

  • A graduate of an accredited secretarial program or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office setting. Health care experience required
  • Effective verbal and written skills
  • Well organized, with strong customer service focus and good interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of computers, with experience in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Electronic Charting System, Scanning of documents & Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision demonstrating effective time management skills
  • Previous experience in a tong-term care setting
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis according to Northwood's corporate standard

Salary / Benefits:

As per UNIFOR Collective Agreement

Hours of Work: 80 hours bi-weekly (8 hour shifts)

Effective: Immediately
