The Human Resources Clerk will be responsible for providing assistance and support in all areas of human resource management including recruitment, staffing, leave management, data and records management. The HR Clerk will handle employment documentation, update and maintain human resources information systems, track and report on employment activity and respond to schools and employees on matters relating to employee status. The HR Clerk will provide Central Office Reception support, which includes performing general receptionist duties and providing quality front-line customer service. Working in a client service based environment, the HR Clerk reports directly to the Human Resources Manager.
This is a non union PEG (Professional Employees Group) position on Band 2 of the Non-Union Compensation Framework with an annual salary range of $39,881- $49,850. The Non Union Compensation Framework is available here : https://www.ednet.ns.ca/docs/educationnon-unioncompensationframeworken.pdf.
