Job Title: Manager, HR Management System (Remote) Department: Talent and Communications Competition: 87387 Internal/External: Both Employment Type: Full Time Permanent Location: Remote, Hybrid Salary: Competitive salary and benefits Reports To: Senior Manager, Payroll & Human Resource Management Systems
This position offers flexibility in terms of location: you can choose to work remotely from home, in our office, or in a hybrid arrangement. You'll have the autonomy to decide what works best for you while staying connected with the team through regular meetings and collaborative tools.

The Opportunity
As the Manager, Human Resource Management Systems, you will collaborate with Human Resources and Payroll leaders and partner with members of the organization to plan and deliver an amazing employee experience through our Workday digital tools. You will build and lead project plans focused on Human Resources and Payroll system changes, upgrades, and process improvements, ensure adherence to project schedules, and ensure the integrity of the HRIS and payroll data through constant monitoring of processes. You will continually seek to improve business processes and look for opportunities to improve our employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with both internal and external stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and drive the development, testing and implementation of Workday
  • Lead a team of HRIS Analysts focused on functional Workday HR and Payroll configuration including team performance and goal setting.
  • Identify and determine requirements with work processes and develop, configure and implement based on changing business needs to improve the employee experience
  • Oversee and maintain integrity and security of the HR Information System.
  • Ensure accuracy and reliability of HR data through regular audits and reporting.
  • Maintain knowledge of data management and security, HR technology, and HRIS applications.
  • Lead HRIS projects from design through implementation, collaborating with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Provide and coordinate continuous training on Workday HR and Payroll
  • Oversee the development and generation of reports that meet Management and end user requirements.
  • Review semiannual system feature releases, assess impact on system and business processes.

Required Qualifications

  • A University degree in Computer Science, Health Sciences, Business Administration, or similar disciplines is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • CEBS, CHRP, PCP or PLP Designations considered an asset.
  • 5+ years of experience in HRIS Leadership role specializing in Workday.
  • 8-10 years of experience in an HR Technology role
  • Workday Pro Certification in one or more modules considered an asset.
  • Project Management experience
  • Functional and technical experience with demonstrated understanding of HR-related tasks, processes, and services.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and technical support skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
