Responsabilités

This is a critical position that will shape the future of our cybersecurity strategy.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Infrastructure & Enterprise Services, you will:

  • Oversee a team of approximately 6 employees which includes the Senior Cybersecurity Analysts, Core Service Administrators and Application or Functional Analysts who support identity and access management (IAM) systems.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Cybersecurity Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to safeguard the organization's digital assets, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Access Management: Implement access control policies, ensuring only authorized personnel have access to sensitive data and systems. Monitor and audit user access. Ensure compliance to the principle of least privilege.
  • Incident Response: Working with the ITSM Manager, maintain a data incident response plan, including procedures for handling security incidents and breaches, and lead investigations when necessary.
  • Security Awareness: Promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices among employees through training and communication.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or NIST, and conduct regular compliance assessments.
  • Security Tools: Select and manage cybersecurity tools and software to protect against threats, including antivirus, intrusion detection, and encryption tools.
  • Email Communications: Oversee the efficient and secure management of an organization's email systems, maintaining email security measures to protect against spam, phishing, malware, and other email-based threats.
  • Budget Management: Working with the Senior Manager of Infrastructure and Enterprise Service, develop and manage the cybersecurity and identity management budget optimizing resource allocation.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to procure and implement security solutions.
Qualifications

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:

  • The minimum educational qualification for this position is a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or a college diploma in information technology with a focus on cybersecurity and/or access and identity management. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification would be considered a strong asset. ITIL certification would be considered a strong asset.

  • You have a minimum of seven (7) years (full-time equivalent) of recent and related occupational experience in cybersecurity, identity management and/or infrastructure related technical environments and/or solutions.

  • You have experience implementing security measures within an IT infrastructure.

  • You have experience in cybersecurity incident response management.

  • You have a strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and frameworks, threat landscape, and emerging trends.

  • You have a strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) best practices.

  • You are proficient with security tools and technologies as well as IT service management tools and systems.

  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail, cybersecurity training and awareness platforms, monitoring, logging and auditing tools, identity and access management frameworks and platforms/applications.

  • You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology; and you are committed to using technology to create an exceptional student experience.

  • You have experience in technical training/facilitation preparation, and technical solution implementations.
