Halifax Water is hiring for the job of Industrial Electrician in the Corporate Services Department. Industrial Electrician is responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, instrumentation, and control system equipment, in water and wastewater treatment facilities, wastewater pumping stations, valve chambers, water booster stations, CSO chambers, reservoirs, and all other facilities operated by Halifax Water.

Responsabilités

As an Industrial Electrician, you will:

  • Be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all electrical and control equipment in treatment plants, pumping stations and other facilities operated by Halifax Water, including electrical and control system components and instrumentation.
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 plus be a Journeyman Industrial Electrician with a Certificate of Qualification in an Industrial Electrician trade.
  • Completed recognized courses in instrumentation and electronics
  • A minimum of five years related industrial or construction experience in an industrial setting.
  • A valid driver's license.
