DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW


Co-op and Internship opportunities allow you to gain valuable work experience across a number of the businesses at TD. You will work with experienced colleagues, receive world class training, and be part of a community of students across TD, where you will have an impact, grow as individual and experience our culture of care.

Our Co-op/Intern Programming is offered with select Co-op and Internship roles and is designed to help you better understand the TD business, build on critical career capabilities, and broaden your professional network. This program is designed to complement your on-the job experience and features:

TD Wealth Advice which is comprised of TD Wealth Financial Planning and TD Wealth Private Wealth Management (PWM) is focused on the delivery of legendary client experiences to Mass Affluent, High-Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients.

This is delivered through an integrated team of professional advisors across Financial Planning, Private Investment Advice, Private Investment Counsel, TD Family Office, Private Banking, Private Trust, Wealth Insurance, and Wealth Advisory Services. As a member of the Strategy & Solutions Group you will be supporting Marketing and Leader & Advisor Engagement Strategy Teams reporting to the Senior Group Manager of Marketing Strategy. This role will support Marketing the first half of the term and the second half with Leader & Advisor Engagement.

This role will also work closely with Associate Marketing Managers, Marketing Associate along with key partners within TD Wealth Advice. This individual will contribute towards the development and execution of marketing initiatives supporting overall business strategies.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Marketing
This individual will contribute towards the development and execution of marketing strategies and tactics supporting advisor marketing capabilities. With a focus on tools and resources support the marketing ecosystem which includes advisor websites, social media, marketing collateral both digital and physical and email marketing.

  • Build resources and tools for advisor at-scale

  • Supporting advisors 1:1 with their marketing queries while promoting various marketing capabilities

  • Opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of advisor marketing

Leader & Advisor Engagement

Ideal candidate is someone who likes to work in a specialized environment, thinks outside the box and achieve exceptional results. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting national leader and advisor engagement and development initiatives. The candidate will get to use a variety of skill sets within this role:

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term

  • Ability to tell a story in a compelling and convincing manner to an audience

  • Excellent presentation, writing and communication skills

  • Organized with attention to detail: ability to meet deadlines.

  • Highly motivated collaborative individual, self-starter, takes ownership, team player who is receptive to feedback and quickly adapts to change

  • Creative thinker and problem solver

  • Demonstrated ability to take independent action to achieve results – Self Starter / Motivator

  • Strong relationship building skills – (Internal team, business stakeholders)

  • Strong business acumen: Ability to start at a high level and go deep to understand business problems

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities

  • Overseeing key steps in the process improvement effort: the collection and analysis of field data and queries, and development of relevant solutions

  • Event planning and/or marketing experience is an asset
