City Homemakers Service Society is currently seeking applications for the position of

RN Supervisor. This position is responsible for the hiring, supervising, and evaluation of Home Support Workers. The duties include professional guidance to Home Support Workers and continuing evaluation and development of their skills. This position reports directly to the Executive Director of the Agency.

Requirements:

· Current registration with Nova Scotia College of Nursing

· Must possess current CPR certificate.

· Current criminal record check

· Management/supervisory experience is an asset.

· Excellent organizational, decision-making skills, and computer skills

· Knowledge of the Home Care Nova Scotia program

· Sound knowledge of community programs

· Commitment to quality improvement and excellent client/customer service

· Strong team leadership skills.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to work in a fast paced/multitask environment and to adapt to a changing work environment.

· Ability to work flexible hours when required and take on call duties on a rotational basis.

· Travel required - must have driver's license and a reliable vehicle.

· An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

The salary range for this position is according to Dept of Seniors and Long-Term Care funding guidelines for Home Support Agencies.
