The Role

We are hiring a Divisional Controller to join our team of accounting professionals. This role will work out of our Saint John, NB or Blacks Harbour, NB office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team
  • Completing period end financial statements and management reports, working paper files and ad hoc reporting
  • Continuous process improvement
  • Be involved, periodically, in projects to support the overall accounting and finance team
  • Coordinating the requests of the external auditors for both the interim and year end audit tasks

A successful candidate will possess:

  • Professional accounting designation preferred
  • University degree in accounting or finance
  • 5 years plus of relevant experience in a management role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Valid passport required for travel to other non-Canadian operations (when permitted)
