Job Description:
Position: Security GuardEvent: Homecoming 2024City: WaterlooShift Date: September 28, 2024Status: Temporary Event GuardHours: VariousPay Rate: $20.25/hr.
This is a temporary position to work on September 28, 2024. Please ensure that you are available to work on that day and attend our virtual training in advance.
Essential Job Functions:

• Ability to work alone or in a team
• Enthusiastically conducts proactive patrols, and be able to address policy breeches
• Ability to write detailed incident reports for all emergency
• Patrol exterior premises for longer periods of time
• Be courteous and cooperative with a high quality of customer service
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures.
• Able to maintain a professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances and people under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
• Write clear, concise, and legible reports.
• Communicates any concerns/issues with Operations Manager.

Requirements:

• Valid Security Guard license.
• First Aid, CPR Level C.
• Smart Serve would be asset
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service along with good computer abilities are all core requirements.
• Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• Able to complete significant walking patrols, including stairs, for long periods of time
• Available to work on September 28, 2024
