NB Power In-store Rebates Program; Fall 2024 Retail Campaign

Position: Retail Compliance Representative
Job Type: Short-Term Contract, Flexible hours M-F with some weekend availability.
Location: Moncton, Fredericton, Saint John, NB (One Compliance Representative is needed for each city)
Campaign Dates: Launches October 22 and runs until December 6
Start Date: will begin the week before the launch date for training and campaign setup
Pay Rate: $21/hour + Mileage

Job Summary

Summerhill is dedicated to developing, implementing, and managing public engagement and market transformation programs that lead to measurable improvements in energy savings.
We seek Compliance Representatives for the NB Power In-Store Rebates; the Fall 2024 Retail Campaign runs from October 22 to December 6, 2024. We are looking for detail-oriented, self-motivated individuals passionate about energy efficiency to join our team as Retail Compliance Representatives. The Representatives will work on behalf of NB Power on the promotion in stores at select retailers across New Brunswick. The retail Compliance Representative will be responsible for ensuring designated retail locations are compliant with Summerhill's event standards and will report accordingly.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working independently, hold a valid driver's license, have access to a reliable vehicle, and have a genuine interest in the environment and energy conservation.

Job Responsibilities

• Travel to designated locations to ensure retailers are compliant with program specifications
• Check signage and displays
• Notify retailers of necessary changes to ensure program and client needs are met
• Submit retailer compliance reporting to the Project Manager as needed and in a timely manner
• Receive event materials and return to Summerhill at the end of the program
• Attend mandatory paid training

Job Qualifications/ Requirements

Access to a reliable car with a valid driver's license and provide proof of insurance
• Familiarity with Google Maps and route mapping software
• Strong verbal and written skills
• Flexible schedule to accommodate in-store visits - bilingual in French and English would be an asset
• Self-motivated with a high level of reliability
• Detail Oriented

• Demonstrate a friendly and professional manner and appearance
• Ability to use Microsoft Windows, Email, Google Maps, and Internet applications
• Possess a smartphone with a data plan (reps will be compensated for data usage for reporting)
• Access to a computer with high-speed internet

• Education and/or experience in energy efficiency or related fields are considered assets.

Working Conditions
• Occasional heavy lifting required, up to 45 lbs.
