Source Atlantic is seeking a Technical Sales Representative - Cutting Tool Specialist in Edmonton, AB. This individual will manage accounts within a given territory and be required to travel to machining/manufacturing and metal working customers. The applicant must have prior experience with cutting tool sales (2+ years) or have a strong machining/manufacturing background. A desire for continuous education and skill development along with strong communication, problem solving, and relationship building skills are a must.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical solutions to machining and manufacturing end users
• Developing cutting tool customer contacts
• Promoting all cutting tool product lines
• Growing sales and identifying new market and product opportunities
• Identifying needs and providing technical solutions and service for customers
• You will identify growth opportunities, and build relationships with customers to enhance long term business prospects
• Frequent travel to customer sites throughout Alberta to provide technical service, define problems and provide solutions to the end user

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of CNC and conventional equipment, gained through experience and/or education is a must
• CNC programming would be a definite asset
• Ability to read and interpret machining/manufacturing drawings
• Must have strong problem solving skills
• Must be outgoing, proactive, motivated, professional self-starter
• Must have time management and organizational skills
• Must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
