Retail Sales Associate at Liquid Assets of Nova Scotia
We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic, experienced and positive Retail Sales Associate to join our dedicated team part time at Liquid Assets of Nova Scotia. Situated in the bustling Halifax Stanfield International Airport, we run a unique retail store, offering the best locally produced wines, beer, spirits, and ciders for our global customers to enjoy.
About you:
- You have a genuine interest and understanding of the local beverage alcohol industry, and are keen to share this knowledge.
- You thrive in fast-paced environments, with a knack for multitasking and an innate sense of urgency.
- You are an excellent communicator, team player, and possess outstanding customer service skills.
- You are knowledgeable about POS operations and have previously worked in beverage alcohol sales or have a keen knowledge of the industry.
- You are flexible, available for short and long shifts, and have reliable transportation.
Your responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations.
- Guiding customers with expert product knowledge and helping them select products.
- Maintaining store cleanliness and stock levels.
- Enforcing airport security, alcohol purchasing policies and regulations in a positive, educational manner.
- Performing other duties as required - from stocking shelves to attending festivals!
- Offering product tastings in a fun, educational manner, adhering to NSLC regulations.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment (preferably retail).
- Great problem-solving skills; ability to identify a problem and action it quickly and efficiently.
- Exceptional communication skills across all channels, including social media.
- Friendly, collaborative personality, with a customer service-oriented mindset.
