Kelly Cove Salmon Ltd., a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., a dynamic and growing east coast family company, with Platinum Member status in the Canada's Best Managed Companies Program, is offering fulltime opportunities for highly motivated individuals to join the Company's team as a Warehouse Employee based in Seal Cove Warehouse, Grand Manan, NB .

The Role

We are in search of a Warehouse Employee to join our team in Sea Cove Grand Manan, New Brunswick. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks including forklift operation, general housekeeping, and using a tablet for inventory purposes. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse by sweeping and keeping the area free of debris.
  • Utilize a tablet or handheld device to accurately track inventory and update records.
  • Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming shipments.
  • Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling product; handling pallet; placing orders in the delivery area.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a warehouse worker or similar role is preferred.
  • Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner.
  • Attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.
  • Basic computer skills: familiarity with using tablets or handheld devices for inventory purposes is a plus.
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 25kgs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
