Job Title: Office Furniture Installer-Full time
Pay: $19/hr.
Hours: Daytime, Monday-Friday (Full-time)
Location: Ottawa, ON (Nepean area)

We're hiring Office Furniture Installers on behalf of a client of ours that has been in operation for 40 years! The role of the Installer is to work independently and as part of a team. You will be working with a small group of coworkers installing various furniture in either private or public sector buildings. The ideal candidate will currently hold a Reliability/Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities:

• loading and offloading product at the warehouse or on site
• staging products on site and maintaining a clean workspace.
• reading drawings and floor plans and installing product accordingly
• communicating to Site Lead of any damaged product, or issues
• keeping track and maintaining tools that are provided and replacing any missing tools.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 Months -1 year of previous experience
• Must be physically able to lift product.
• Experience with reading floor plans and blueprints is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Experience with basic hand tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
