PAL Aerospace is a proud partner of Airbus Defence & Space for the Government of Canada's Fixed Wing Search and Rescue aircraft replacement (FWSAR) program. PAL Aerospace is responsible for In FWSAR Service Support (ISS) ranging from working alongside DND at 1 st line to performing at Depot level the maintenance not undertaken by Royal Canadian Air Force Squadrons. PAL's Depot level work also includes the embodiment of aircraft modifications and the conduct of Special Inspections.

This significant and exciting project will pave the way for innovation and opportunity within PAL Aerospace, while growing our operations. In an effort to expand our current team, PAL Aerospace is currently looking for a Warehouse Team Lead in the FWSAR Main Operating Base (MOB) located in Greenwood, NS.

The Warehouse Team Lead will report directly to the CFO Lead.

Specific duties and responsibilities include:

  • Supervision of Supply Operations at the MOB;
  • Manage Warehouse Operators' schedules and daily tasks;
  • Reporting to the CFO Lead concerning Supply Operations
  • Reporting KPI achievement to Material Control Center (MCC);
  • Completion of daily and monthly reporting
  • Liaison with the RCAF Squadron Supply Staff to ensure effective operations at the Hand-Over Point (HOP);
  • Lead the stores and procurement department;
  • Maintain Consumables inventory (e.g. min/max management);
  • Coordinate consumable procurement activities based on planned inventory replenishment;
  • Coordinate process of rotable equipment overhaul and replacement with MCC;
  • Application of Continuous Improvement (CI) to warehouse processes;
  • Facilitates physical inventory counts and valuations;
  • Determining root causes of inventory inaccuracies and implementing preventative actions;
  • Other projects as assigned including bar coding; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years' leadership experience in relevant logistics operations, or Military Supply / Traffic Technician;
  • Capable of successfully completing the SAP SP1 Course (to be provided);
  • Capable of successfully completing the PAL FWSAR on-boarding training (to be provided);
  • Strong communication skills with particular emphasis on oral and written English;
  • Capable of successfully obtaining Level II - Secret clearance; and
  • Capable of successfully obtaining ITAR / CCG clearance.
