Salary: To commensurate with qualifications and experience in the range of $57,315 - $67,429 per annum.

Responsabilités

Under the direction of the Associate Vice President Finance and Treasurer, the Manager, Accounts Payable is responsible for the administration and efficient operation of the Accounts Payable unit within Financial Services.

As the Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of financial employees that are tasked with Accounts Payable activities, while ensuring that all policies and appropriate documentation are properly administered, maintained, and adhered to.

A key member of the Financial Services team, you will inspire confidence and leadership to your team and effectively manage and communicate Accounts Payable specific policies and procedures to Acadia employees, vendors, and external stakeholders. The position will work directly with other Financial Services team members - in particular, Procurement and Treasury.

As the ideal candidate, you are a motivated, organized individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Your customer service skills and financial acumen, along with your experience and interest in the management of Accounts Payable activities, will serve you well in this role.

Qualifications
  • We are seeking candidates who either possess a Bachelor's Degree or possess other post-secondary studies with experience in Accounts Payable.
  • We are looking for someone with thorough knowledge of accounts payable processes and knowledge of GAAP and Fund Accounting.
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, who is effective in their work, flexible to changing demands and works collaboratively, fostering teamwork is essential.
  • Experience in managing a team of employees, including performance and change management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, troubleshooting, and provide direction and advice as required.
  • Applicants must be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Ellucian's Colleague Finance and Informer applications will be considered an asset.
