Sheet Metal Machine Operator with Forklift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a full time CNC Bending Machine Operator for our customer, a producer of Architectural panels. Located in Brampton, the ideal person will have previous machining or CNC punch press and experience operating a forklift. This is great opportunity to gain new skills and growth with an established sheet metal company

Shift and wage:

Wage: $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm

Shifts available: Monday to Friday

Job Duties:

· Operate machine to bend metal structural shapes

· Must be able to read drawings with attention to detail

· May also require cutting or strip metals according to length and orders using power tools

· Safely operate Electric counterbalance when required

· Load and off load sheet raw sheet metal and or finished goods

· Assist in other departments as required

Job Requirements:

· Ability to read blueprints and use calipers

· Valid Forklift certification

· Must have minimum 1 year previous experience in a similar type of role

· Open to learning new CNC machine skills

· Work independently or as a team
