Job Details: Manufacturing Warehouse Associate (3-6 months contract)
Pay Rate: $19-$20 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Work Location: Ottawa, ON, near East end Industrial Sector

Our client, based in Ottawa, Ontario, is seeking a Manufacturing Warehouse Associate to join their team. This role involves a combination of warehouse responsibilities and providing services to customers, including fit testing, DOP testing, and inspection of fall protection equipment. The successful candidate should possess a G-license and ideally have a background in equipment repair, technical experience, and some electrical knowledge.

Job Description:

• Pick, pack and shipping of transfers/products
• General warehouse duties
• Able to lift 50 lb
• Ability to work w/o supervision
• Attention to detail
• Stock put away
• Receiving of product
• Receiving/shipping of product on Purolator system and on ERP system
• Provide services to customers: training to be provided later

Requirements:

• Warehouse Experience: A minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience is required.
• Physical Abilities: The ability to lift up to 50 lbs is necessary for tasks such as picking, packing, and shipping products.
• Autonomy: Must be able to work without direct supervision and exhibit attention to detail in all tasks.
• Customer Service: Provide various services to customers, including fit testing, DOP testing, and inspection of fall protection equipment (training provided).
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are an asset, particularly experience with Purolator and ERP systems.
• Footwear Requirement: Steel-toe safety shoes are mandatory.
• Driver's License: G-license is required.
