Our Team

Our Newfoundland and Labrador Operations are an integrated mining, milling, and processing operation. Nickel concentrate from the fly-in, fly-out Voisey's Bay operation is shipped to our state-of-art Long Harbour Processing Plant where it is refined into low-carbon and high-purity nickel rounds, cobalt rounds and copper cathodes.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Media Content Creator to join our Operational Services Department in St. John's, NL. This permanent position will be on a Monday to Friday schedule working primarily from the St. John's Office, with regular visits to the Voisey's Bay Mine Site and Long Harbour Operations as per business needs.

As a Media Content Creator, you will be responsible for writing, reviewing, editing, and creating content for the Newfoundland and Labrador operations, working collaboratively with the corporate communications team for alignment. This will include designing impactful signage, presentation, and branding materials, managing the photography/videography needs for the operations, and ensuring brand consistency across all media content. This position requires a creative individual with a keen eye for detail, proficiency in design software, and exceptional project management skills.

Additionally, in this position you will:

• Design, produce, and deliver high-quality visual content including digital graphics, print materials, and multimedia assets. Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and communication strategy, and effectively communicates the brand message to target audiences.
• Lead photography and videography projects from concept to completion. This includes planning, shooting, editing, and finalizing images and videos.
• Liaison with the Communications team, to develop and execute branding strategies that effectively communicate our brand identity, values, and messages across various channels.
• Work closely with the communications and design teams to create cohesive and impactful visual content that supports promotional campaigns and initiatives.

About You

Education:

• A minimum of a diploma or degree in a relevant field (Arts & Design, Graphic Design, Photography, Digital Marketing, etc.).

Experience:

• A minimum of 18 months in a related field and/or role.

Skills:

• Design and editing software proficiency.
• Photography and videography.
• Digital marketing understanding.
• Brand development.
• Project management.
• Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (particularly PowerPoint).
• Safety oriented.
• Demonstrates leadership and commitment towards diversity, equity, and inclusion.
