Temporary Full-time until 01 August 2025, with possible extension
Speech Language Pathologist II
Stephenville, NL

DUTIES: The successful applicant will provide services to outpatient, acute and long-term care clients. Potential areas of service include: preschool articulation, phonology, language, voice and fluency; post high school through adult articulation, language, voice, fluency and dysphagia. The successful applicant will work together with interdisciplinary teams as well as with Speech Language Pathologists in the region. The incumbent may have leadership duties, including administrative and clinical mentoring work for the regional Speech-Language Pathology service. Some travel within the region may be required. The successful applicant will report directly to the Regional Manager of Developmental Health and Adult Speech and Hearing.

QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and licensure with the Newfoundland and Labrador Council of Health Professionals is required. Experience in assessment and treatment techniques in the areas of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders is required. Candidates should possess well-developed organizational, communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. A minimum of two years of experience working with adult and pre-school populations in a health care setting is also required.

Note: Use of a private vehicle is a condition of employment.

**A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position.

Hours of work: 75 hours per pay period
0830-1630 Hours; Monday to Friday
Flexible work hours may be required
Salary: $83,245.50 to $98,182.50 per Annum.
