Position Overview Statement

The trusted candidate will be someone that can build relationships, and provide leadership and direction, in partnership with business and executive stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key end-to-end deliverables in alignment with business strategies and/or regulatory needs by leveraging proven Change Delivery methodologies.

Project Manager Primary Duties and Responsibilities

· Ensure end-to-end delivery of projects with a Project Risk Class (PRC) of B-D with a financial Tier 2-4

· Work in close partnership with all project stakeholders to align plans, timelines, expectations and deliverables to meet project's objectives

· Use negotiation and influencing skills to build consensus amongst diverse stakeholder groups to ensure project deliverables are met

· Ensure projects are delivered based on agreed scope, agreed timeline and approved budget

· Manage resolution of issues and risks effectively and if required ensures timely escalation of the issues and risks

· Communicates effectively project status communication to stakeholders

· Manage project financials, including monthly variance analysis, program benefits and on-going costs

· Create and maintain comprehensive project management artifacts in compliance with Change Delivery methodologies, in alignment with agile delivery practices.

· Considered as a subject matter expert on practices, procedures and principles of project management; preference to use of Agile

· Manage projects through Project Management Life Cycle including Start Well (Planning), Manage Well (Control) and End Well (Execution and Closure)

· Exercise discretion in managing correspondence and information, escalating issues where appropriate

· Manage communications to: Program Delivery Leadership team, impacted stakeholders and Control Partners

· Part of a 6 member TDS Benchmark Rate Reform (BRR) Business team in Trading Business management (TBM), working on one of the largest global change projects in the financial industry.

· The BRR team works with multiple TD segments (AMCB, CBB & Enterprise) & TDS groups (front & middle office, legal, chief accountant's, risk, operations) to determine strategies for client engagement and remediation of existing USD LIBOR/CDOR-based credit facilities for TDS and TD overall.

· Work in partnership with the BRR Business Owner and BRR Delivery Lead to drive the delivery of USD LIBOR/CDOR transition activities for TDS Corporate Lending and Global Transaction Banking (GTB) business lines, using experience/insight to help engage senior leaders, maintain a focus on delivering outcomes and removing ambiguity and unnecessary obstacles.

· Act as a USD LIBOR/CDOR Transition Lead: advise/support on the impact of USD LIBOR/CDOR Transition; respond to questions from Relationship Managers covering topics including cessation timing and transition options, fallback provisions, pricing mechanics, etc.

· Help execute the BRR transition: prepare/coordinate client communications, define/prepare training materials, track/evaluate industry developments and assess/advise implications, help create materials and metrics to respond to regulators, ensure relevant policies/standards are up to date.

· Work with senior executives in the Corporate Lending and GTB businesses.

· Drive execution and support for successful LIBOR transition.

Qualifications / Skills / Experience:

· 7-10 years experience in a change delivery role as a Project Manager / Scrum Master.

· Very Strong working knowledge with project management tools, such as, Confluence, JIRA, Clarity and Tableau

· Outstanding record of project management success preferably in Capital Markets, both in results achieved and in use of professional methodology; preference to use of Agile

· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail

· Demonstrates superior inter-personal skills, conflict resolution, and negotiating skills

· Pro-active in developing and implementing strategies that significantly mitigate risk

· Proven ability to lead organizational change management activities within a project

· Experience in a large complex / matrix organization

· Demonstrated leadership ability

· Flexible and able to quickly adapt to unfamiliar, ambiguous or changing conditions

· Excellent analytical, problem solving, and relationship management skills

· Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects as and when required

· Prior experience in Capital Markets in a plus.

· Prior experience of delivering Regulatory initiative (like IBOR project) is a big plus.

Specific Education Requirements:

· University degree or equivalent

· Scrum Master Certified

· PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM or CSP designation preferred
