Position Overview:
The Security Guard is responsible for conducting access control and providing customer service at the assigned facility. The Security Guard is expected to represent Paladin Security Group as well as the facility they are assigned to.
Essential Job Functions:
- Patrol and protect the property and provide a safe environment for all occupants.
- Provide security services, customer service, access control and CCTV Monitoring for interior and exterior areas of the property as per site procedures.
- Provide key and access control as required by staff in accordance with site policies.
- Conducts patrols and investigations as required, completes logs and reports.
- A valid Ontario Security License
- A valid First Aid and CPR C Certificate
- Ability to obtain a clean Judicial Matters Criminal Records Check from a local police station is considered an asset.
- Successfully obtain a Transport Canada Security Clearance
- Ability to operate client's computer systems and software.
- Proficient in English (Verbal and Written)
- Must have Ontario's G Drivers license
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
- Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
- Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability
