Title : Advisor- Strategic Marketing and Business Development

In this role, you will :

Responsibility 1: Research and Business Development Support

  • Conduct comprehensive market and sector research to identify emerging trends, potential opportunities, and strategic partnerships that align with Prevention and Safety (P&S) goals.
  • Develop and write proposals for RFPs, ensuring they align with the organization's goals and strategic priorities.
  • Analyze and synthesize research data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for service expansion and enhancement.
  • Support P&S service leads in evolving existing services and designing new offerings, ensuring they meet forecasted needs and partnership expectations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, outlining research findings and proposing strategic initiatives.

Responsibility 2: Product Releases, Training Partners, Surveys and Newsletter Oversight

  • Develop marketing collateral for new product releases and updates, including value propositions, program release documents, and materials for training partners. Handle tasks related to product marketing and partner training materials.
  • Coordinate Content Creation and Fact Sheets: Coordinate content for the web, fact sheets for training partners, and any other marketing materials required for product releases. Writing may be required.
  • Newsletter Oversight: Oversee mass newsletters, ensuring creative and copy alignment for marketing communications to stakeholders.
  • Survey Preparation: Prepare surveys for release using Survey Monkey.

Responsibility 3: Leadership in Integrated and Traditional Marketing Campaigns

  • Plan and oversee campaign scheduling, aligning advertising and promotions with seasonal or market trends, with efforts synchronized across various content platforms.
  • Develop and execute traditional marketing strategies utilizing media channels such as press, magazines, and events to enhance brand visibility and outreach.
  • Coordinate unified campaign execution, working with digital marketing, communications, and email marketing teams to ensure a holistic approach that maximizes reach and impact across all channels.
  • Manage relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of marketing materials and services.

Responsibility 4: Campaign Performance Analysis and Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze campaign metrics to evaluate success, identify improvement areas, and collaborate with the team to prepare reports.

What we are looking for :

  • University degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field from a recognized institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5-6 years in program management or business development, with demonstrated abilities in market research, competitor analysis, and managing a diverse project portfolio.
  • Demonstrated experience writing successful proposals for RFPs, with a strong understanding of the requirements and processes involved. Ability to develop compelling and strategic proposals and presentations that align with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, including negotiation, conflict resolution, and presentation skills. Capable of effectively interacting with diverse internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Indesign skills is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of business operations, support processes, and project management methodologies.
  • Proven track record in research and strategic analysis, with the ability to think critically and strategically under pressure. Familiarity with business intelligence tools and data frameworks is an asset.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint. Understanding of project management tools and software is an asset.
  • General understanding of the needs and workings of TV, print, online, and radio media at national, regional, and local levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment, showing resilience and adaptability to changing circumstances.
  • Fluency in English is required, proficiency in French is an asset.
